Fumi Salad ( Japan)
6 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
1 cup green onion with tops, sliced
½ cup Slivered almonds
¼ cup Sesame seeds
3 ounces of dry rice noodles
Mix cabbage and onions in large bowl. Chill. Lightly toast the almonds and sesame seeds on a cookie sheet in the over at 225 degrees. Cool and add to cabbage. When ready to serve, add noodles in to small pieces, add to the cabbage mixture and toss all ingredients together. Cover with “Oriental Dressing” recipe below.
Yields: 9 cups
